Hi – let me introduce myself – my name is Shana. I’m originally from a small town in eastern Kentucky. I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a bachelors degree in business administration in marketing.

I have two goldendoodles who are my babies. Lily who is 10 years old and Carolina who turned 6 this year. Lily is almost human and I know she understands every word I say. Carolina is the most lovable dog you will ever encounter!

I’m an avid UK fan!! Go Cats! Basketball, football, baseball, volleyball, you name it! A Kentucky spring and fall wouldn’t be complete without attending Keeneland and betting on some ponies while sipping on a Keeneland Breeze. Oh yeah I must mention bourbon – it is a way of life!

I moved to Myrtle Beach, SC in the summer of 2017. I transferred with my job and packed up in two weeks. It was a whirlwind. Me and my parents now live about 8 doors apart! (They moved down about 2 years before). My dream of living at the beach finally came true!

Me and my Mom have always been adventurous! Now that we live in the same zip code (first time in 10 years) we take adventures all along the coast in North and South Carolina. We are always up for something new (a 30 minute ferry ride or a 3 hour tour) and checking out the history that embodies the Carolinas. And of course, we always find some good local eateries and good shopping!

So my boss always asks me if I have been here or there and my answer is usually a yes. So his advice: start a blog. So here we are! Enjoy!
